I just wanted to introduce myself to you via this e-mail. I finally made my first of your webinars today although very late due to computer problems kind of fouled my timely entry today unfortunately so I will have to review what I missed. I first came across Ty Young on the Trader Secret
Library website. I liked the fact that Ty was
talking about trading the market using basic and
widely applicable technical analysis techniques -
not a red/blue arrow trade/no trade system which I
have come to find is a total waste of time (and
thus money).
The other attraction was that he was talking about
principles that he uses everyday utilizing the
Bollinger Band on the price chart along with
extensive use of trend lines and some other
confirming indicators. His approach matched up well
with my own interest in the Bollinger Band which
has the obvious advantage of providing a dynamic
system of identifying current real-time support and
resistance points right next to the price candlesticks.
Ty is patient and very thorough as he will take
whatever time is needed to over the concept being
taught numerous times and from slightly different
angles to better illustrate to the hearer what can
sometimes be a process that is only apparent inside
the head of the successful trader. There is often a
gap between what the successful trader does and what he
is able to convey to the learner. That willingness to
acknowledge that just because the teacher understands
something and has explained it once (or even more than
once), does not mean the student 'got it', is a
critical point. That is very important if real learning
is going to take place and if trading behavior
modification is going to be the result. Ty does do
this.
I would recommend Ty Young as a trading instructor to
anyone who has reached the understanding that
successful trading is going to come from study,
hard work and practice, practice, practice. Because
that is where the instincts are going to be formed
and imprinted into your consciousness to affect the
real-world real-time trading decisions you are going be
making out at the right edge of the price chart.

I’ve been losing my shirt for the last year being in some real need of some good training. I talked to another commercial EA dealer/training program about a day before I signed up for TSL. There were a few things the “other guy” said that really made me think. It was that now is the time for a change and they asked me if I wanted to trade for a living or greet people at Walmart. That really struck a chord with me. Once I got inside TSL and saw all the info I thought wow, great, cool.
